My Story

I was born and raised in Lithuania, an old country in eastern Europe. My roots are strong and still very much make me who I am today, even though I’ve spent the last 22 years living in USA. I am very grateful for being able to experience life in different cultures, as it has brought so much learning, experience, and growth on every level into my life.

After moving to US, I embraced the convenience of convenience foods and fast paced lifestyle. It was so different from the way I was brought up and it was great while it lasted until it didn’t any more, which ended quickly. It simply was not sustainable and it caught up with me.

My first realization about the harmful effects of this kind of living and diet hit me when my son was born. I followed all the conventional pediatric recommendations on his care, but he struggled with digestive problems and eczema. My motherly instincts kicked in and I knew I had to go back to my roots to heal him. He is now a healthy 18-year-old and has never had a single dose of antibiotics in his life.

I knew better when my daughter was born, and she never had to go through the same problems.

What really drove me to study deeply and get my qualifications so that I can help others from my experience, was my experiment with going vegetarian for 3 years right after my daughter was born. That drove me to severe malnourishment causing hypothyroidism, extreme fatigue and so many health issues, that it would take up too much space on this page to list them all. I finally could not stand it any longer feeling like I was in my eighties and went searching for help from a naturopath.

It was the beginning of a long journey back to health and so worth it, but it made me realize that it is much easier to prevent disease than to cure it. That’s why I do what I do now, because it is hard for me to see others making the same mistakes and suffering the consequences.

My Mission

My biggest mission in life is to help people understand that their bodies are the most amazing healing systems and that with the right support they can stay in good health all the way through old age without any need of suppressive medications and invasive surgeries.

I believe that vibrant health is the foundation of great life, and food and our environment has everything to do with our health. We all eat, every day. Sadly, this vital, pleasurable and such primal activity has become so confusing, stressful, and complicated for majority of us, that it is starting to look a lot like rocket science.

I’m here to help you navigate through the ever changing and puzzling landscape of nutrition by weeding out all the noise and focusing on what’s truly important. Make it simple and fun.

My goal is to help you reach new realm through holistic approach to health, where food becomes a source of nourishment, vibrancy and joy and where you feel empowered to take charge of your health and become the best version of who you can be. It is our most important birth right to live to our full potential physically, mentally, and emotionally.

I simply will not rest until I find what will solve your health problem & I will expect the same commitment from you too, as it is very much a team work. I don’t believe in covering up symptoms with drugs, but rather dig deep to find the true cause of health problems. This is what gets me out of bed every morning (and of course, my kids :), this is my true passion.
